The Godfather is a 1972 drama with a runtime of 2 hours and 55 minutes. He is now the top mobster and has virtually no more rivals. In the end Michael marries, has a family and orders the murder of his brother in law, a Las Vegas casino owner and also the heads of the other mob families in the city. The eldest son of Vito is killed by rival mobsters after a setup by his brother in law. After this Michael becomes the head of the family and takes over the operations as his father’s health is declining and is looking to retire. During this time the youngest son Michael volunteers to assassinate the drug dealer and a corrupt police captain. However he declines and is nearly killed in retaliation. In one situation a drug dealer offers him to sell drugs as another operation. Over time he deals with his rivals who are looking to make him less powerful. He looks to help those he knows including a man who’s daughter was brutally assaulted, a movie star who is looking to get into an upcoming blockbuster movie while looking to expand his organization. The family is led by Vito Corleone who is in charge of the most powerful mob family in New York City.
